Jeff Beal on BIS 1: House of Cards Symphony

Composer Jeff Beal shares the story behind creating a symphony out of his music for the Netflix hit series House of Cards. The House of Cards Symphony was recorded in Sweden in June 2017, with the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra conducted by the composer. The recording is now available as a hybrid SACD with Surround Sound (BIS-2299), as well as from digital providers.

The 2-disc album also features soloists Sharon Bezaly in Beal’s Flute Concerto and Jason Vieaux in Six Sixteen for guitar and strings.
