My Brightest Diamond w. yMusic | “Reaching Through To The Other Side” Live @ MusicNOW 2011

We had the absolute pleasure of being invited to this year’s MusicNow festival in Cincinnati this past weekend and, in between catch-ups and trying to keep our jaws off the floor, we filmed some of the amazing collaborations that took place.

Bryce Dessner’s incredible curations began with a piece composed by Richard Reed Parry and played by yMusic and lead straight to the sublime sounds of Shara Worden (of My Brightest Diamond fame).

Here she sings “Reaching Through To The Other Side” from her upcoming collection which, if these selections are any indication, will become one of our favourite records of 2011.
