Can I upload a video file?
No, sorry. We do not host videos. We can only pull videos that are already hosted on YouTube or Vimeo.
Can I submit a video that is hosted on Dropbox/Copy/my server?
Again, we’re sorry. We can only pull videos that are already hosted on YouTube or Vimeo.
Do I get to choose my category?
We will take care of this for you so promo/silly material does not end up in other categories.
What are tags?
Tags are keywords attached to a piece of information—in our context, videos.
Good candidates for tags in your submissions are instruments, ensembles, composers, genres, etc.
Make sure to separate your tags with commas.
How long does it take to see my video listed on your site?
We’re really excited about the content you submit so the turnaround is pretty fast. To be safe, let’s say that it shouldn’t take longer than 48 hours
Do not submit twice (or more): multiple entries will all be deleted.
I waited 48 hours and I still don’t see my video. What’s happening?
It could be that:
- you submitted a download link and not a YouTube/Vimeo URL,
- you submitted a still image with audio instead of a video,
- the quality of your video was not good enough (poor audio/noisy video),
- the music featured in your video doesn’t really fit with what we’re trying to cover here: contemporary classical music.
