Zyklus No. 9 for One Percussionist by Karlheinz Stockhausen

Zyklus für einen Schlagzeuger is a percussion solo composed by Karlheinz Stockhausen. Premiered in 1959 by Christoph Caskel at the Darmstadt Summer Courses for New Music and inspired many later percussion solos to come. The piece is assigned No. 9 as it is the ninth work in Stockhausen’s catalog.
