Limpet Space Race & Orchestra of St John’s – Earth Flow
Limpet Space Race, a duo mishmashing pop, jazz, prog and diy electronics, release their new electronics, field recording and string orchestra piece with the internationally-acclaimed Orchestra of St John’s – Earth Flow. This piece is the first in ‘We Are Water’, a series commissioned by Cayenna Ponchione-Bailey in collaboration with climate and water researchers. ‘Earth Flow’ is a collaboration with research documentary project Himalayas To Ocean, exploring themes of erosion, landslides and climate change. It was recorded and filmed with the Orchestra of St John’s and Limpet Space Race at a socially-distanced session, July 2020 at OVADA Warehouse.
